Spend-Challenge turns restraint into a game — daily caps, streak targets, category limits, and quick expense marks on your iPhone. This page explains what we may access, what stays in your private money log, and what we never share with lenders, card issuers, or spending-data brokers.

Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Spend-Challenge mobile app on the Apple App Store and to read-only content served from this website’s API. It is written for challengers using the app and visitors reading this page.
Information
Spend-Challenge does not require your legal name, email, phone, home address, bank login, card number, or government ID for core budgeting tools.
Category labels, cap amounts, streak counts, and expense memos you enter remain for your in-app experience. We do not repurpose them for targeted advertising or resale.
Remote Templates
When the app loads shared copy — welcome screens, sample challenges, or placeholder category tags — it may fetch public JSON from this domain. That material is generic budgeting text, not your private spend ledger.
Photos
If you attach receipt photos or screenshot proofs, Spend-Challenge may request camera or photo library access only when you choose to import. Contacts, microphone, and location stay unused unless a future feature clearly needs them and this policy is updated.
Device
Standard iOS storage and networking support optional templates and updates. Diagnostics you voluntarily share with Apple follow Apple’s privacy terms.
Hosting
Infrastructure partners operate this policy page and API endpoints. They retain traffic logs needed to run servers under their own practices.
Optional analytics or support tools, if added later, will be named here with collection limited to their role.
Minors
Spend-Challenge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Contact App Store support if a child submitted information and we will help with removal where possible.
Retention & Security
Challenges you keep in Spend-Challenge remain under your control on your device. Reset streaks in-app or delete the application to clear local storage.
We apply reasonable safeguards to hosted assets. No service is perfectly secure — treat expense notes like a locked wallet tally, not a public scoreboard.
Your Choices
Exit Spend-Challenge whenever you choose. Revoke photo or network access in iOS Settings for a tighter offline budget pad where supported.
Updates
We may revise this policy as Spend-Challenge evolves. The date above marks substantive changes. Continued use after an update accepts the new terms where law permits.
